Podcasts are great and all, but honestly, I've got 30 minutes to explain as much as I can. I'm going to miss a whole bunch of stuff despite my best efforts. So why not pick up a book and learn even more about this stuff?

ReplyDeleteSECONDLY, I totally get where you're coming from with George, I mean it's definitely a specific kind of freedom. He's certainly no angel, but at least there was some effort on his part to help his slaves. Although he had some pretty horrific punishments for those who tried to escape...I don't know I'm honestly torn. It's a good thing that any podcast episodes about American history are sooooo far away!
Incidentally if I were to chose a different match up I'd have Spartacus fighting Tamerlane. For freedom!
